Sophia d'Oléron-Vendôme (née van der Breuk) is the current Empress consort of the Araadenian Empire. Born into one of the ruling noble houses of the Araadenian moon of Calavel, the House van der Breuk, Sophia was wed to Darién d'Oléron-Vendôme during the Great Arrodelean War in a small ceremony.

Throughout the war, Sophia van der Breuk played a key part in the downfall of Empress Vanée's Arrodelean Imperium. As a crew member of the Vauren Eclipse under the command of Captain Ebba-Dakk and Commander Darién d'Oléron-Vendôme, Sophia served as a mechanic aboard the ship. However, during the course of the Great Arrodelean War, Sophia van der Breuk served in succession as a mechanic, a diplomat, and a Phoenix Guardian.

Following the end of the war, a more formal wedding was held for Darién and Sophia in a private castle located in the snowcapped mountains of Vaurenere. Since the renewal of their vows, the couple has had two sons.
